Our paper towel holders are truly one-handed. They have a device that grips the paper or stops the roll from turning. You simply pull the paper far enough so the perforation is beyond the device. A tear at the perforation will result when you pull downward. We have roughly 15 patents and pending patents in the USA, Europe, Canada, and Australia. Some of our paper towel holders are sanitary, meaning you only touch the sheet you plan to use – not the holder, roll or other sheets. This is especially important if you’ve been handling raw meat, etc. Tip: For optimum performance (and to reduce waste and consumption), use the shorter sheet rolls (Select-A-Size, Pick-A-Size, or Choose-A-Size). Pull the paper out until the paper roughly forms the shape of a square, then pull downward to tear a sheet. If you see the paper form a square shape, the perforation will consequently be beyond the stopping device; you won’t have to look for the perforation. You will find this method easy and intuitive.
